Tickets for “12-12-12: Concert for Sandy Relief” — one of several upcoming benefit shows looking to raise money for Hurricane Sandy’s victims — went on sale yesterday (December 3) and range from $150 to $2,500. Fans unable to afford a seat at the star-studded December 12 showcase at Madison Square Garden can see performances by Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Kanye West, and more when the event is broadcast live on 34 U.S. television channels, a network of international TV stations, and Clear Channel radio. Projected to reach a lofty one billion people worldwide, the show will also stream online via multiple websites.

Many high-profile artists are scheduled to perform at the charity gig, which will donate proceeds to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. Those booked for the Dec. 12 event include: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, the Who, and Alicia Keys. Most recently added to the bill: Eric Clapton and Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

The organizers behind “12-12-12” are the same entertainment executives who put together “The Concert for New York City,” which raised more than $30 million for victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks. According to the concert’s website, when Sandy devastated the East Coast in late October, the superstorm caused $50 billion of damage in the Tri-State area.

“12-12-12: Concert For Sandy Relief” will air live at 7:30 p.m. EST on December 12. Scroll down to see where you can watch the show.
