Watch Warpaint Play Four Bewitching Songs in France

warpaint, album, live, french television

SPIN recently shadowed Warpaint as they made their way around New York City, visiting the American Museum of Natural History, stopping by radio show KEXP, and playing an intimate gig at Brooklyn’s Union Pool. The latter two activities were done in support of the all-female quartet’s second album, the just-released Warpaint (the museum trip was more recreational, in case you were wondering). But the ladies’ promotional cycle has not been limited to the Big Apple: Earlier this week, Warpaint appeared on a French television show to plug their follow-up to 2010’s The Fool LP.

Warpainters Emily Kokal, Theresa Wayman, Stella Mozgawa, and Jenny Lee Lindberg dropped in on the Canal+ network’s Album de la Semaine program — translation: Album of the Week — to discuss the creative process behind the new full-length and perform four of the record’s hypnotic highlights: “Keep It Healthy,” “Love Is to Die,” “Disco//Very,” and “Feeling Alright.”

Watch the entire Album de la Semaine broadcast above (remember: questions are asked in French) and be sure to check out SPIN’s fresh feature, Warpaint on Safari.
