Dundee, Scotland’s youthful punkers the View are about to stir up quite a ruckus in America with their vintage guitar rock replete with veering back slash rhythms and hollering vocal crescendos. The foursome actually grew up together in the same Scottish housing project. “Superstar Tradesman” comes from their debut album, Hats Off to the Buskers, which drops in Jan. 22 the U.K. and March 13 in the U.S. on 1965/Columbia.
The View arrive in the U.S. for a slew of shows kicking off Jan. 2-3 at New York City’s Mercury Lounge before moving to San Francisco’s Popscene (Jan. 4), followed by the Viper Room (Jan. 5) and Spaceland (Jan. 6) in Los Angeles.
