Prior to a recent festival stop in Austin, TX the pride of Wasilla, AK (sorry Palin fam) Portugal. The Man got into some mischief all thanks to SPIN and HTC.

Armed with the HTC G2 smartphones , band members documented their stops on the way to Austin with the device's HD camcorder, as well as exploring other functions like the Google Voice Actions.Bassist Zach Carothers was impressed by the phone taking him directly to the band's website after merely saying "Portugal. The Man."

The first stop on the group's jaunt was a shooting range, an activity the members were less than experienced in.Upon nailing his target, Carothers immediately used his G2 to tweet about his big hit.Finally, before hitting the stage the band trekked to the river at Barton Springs and donned life jackets for some canoeing.
