A couple months back, Vacation fired off “Pyro Hippies,” the feedback-gnashed opening salvo from upcoming sophomore album Candy Waves. Now, in advance of the LP’s June 18 drop date, the Cincinnati power-punks have shared the whole 11-track release. It’s 30 swift minutes of hardened bubblegum hooks, frenzied drumming, and self-defeating mantras such as “Happiness has been a-waitin’ on me.” Jump in below.
