  • U2 have revealed that they will take a more pared-back approach to their next album: The set, which will be produced by Danger Mouse, will most likely run shorter than their last LP No Line on the Horizon. “We were trying to write an album with ‘No Line On the Horizon’ that had a kind of narrative and if I look back on it now, it’s probably too long. Maybe just by one song or two,” Bono said. “It’s incredible that people think, ‘Oh gosh I can put 17 songs on this’ … it’s like more cornflakes in a better box.” U2 just resumed their 360° Tour in South Africa; the trek returns to the U.S. on May 21 in Denver.
