When we sat down Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks at Coney Island's annual Siren Fest to speak on the most pressing issues in the 2008 presidential campaign, each member of the Portland, OR, quartet eagerly added their two cents, listing a host of problems facing America including heath care, the floundering economy, and the war in Iraq.

Below, watch the Jicks relay their political concerns on what they consider to be the most important issues facing Americans this November, stressing not just the importance of voting, but being educated as to whose ballot you're punching.

And to do your part, head to Headcount.org, a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to voter registration and participation in democracy.
