The annual Gumball 3000 race doesn't seem real when reading about it on paper, as we did in the July issue of 7x7, our sister magazine in San Francisco. Racers pay a $120,000 entry fee to compete in a globetrotting, hard-partying parade of exotic cars and opulence, an experience you might remember from a special episode of Jackass.

This year's trek kicks off this weekend in San Francisco, and 7x7 is live, on the scene, posting video updates as the engines begin to rev, with pedals pushed to metal by celebs like Blink-182's Travis Barker, Jermaine Dupri, Tyson Beckford, Alfonso Ribeiro, Amber Stevens, and Tara Reid.
