Tour Updates: Beastie Boys, Jose Gonzalez

In support of their forthcoming organic album, the Boys, the Beastie, Beastie Boys have announced a string of dates kicking off Aug. 1 in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. From there, Ad-Rock, Mike D, and MCA, the latter coming off a productive stint aiding seminal punk rockers Bad Brains Build a Nation, will hit cities such as Boston, New York, and Denver, before capping with a pair of appearances in California.

Nature boy Jose Gonzalez has confirmed a summer and fall tour dispatching his new tunes and more to audiences across the U.S., CMJ.com reports. The tour, commencing in New York Aug. 21, will derail for a one month before revving up with a three night stint again in the Big Apple, then hit East Coast metropolises such as Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. Finally, Gonzalez and his acoustic, somber ditties will head west and stop through cities such as Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles.
