The Download Festival, already a success in England, returns to the States for a second time with scheduled dates this summer in Boston (Aug. 20) and San Francisco (Sept. 30). The Tweeter Center will host the Boston portion of the music and technology festival, featuring acts like 311, Dropkick Murphys, G. Love & Special Sauce, Jurassic 5, the Wailers, and more. The lineup for San Francisco will be announced shortly. Tickets for Boston go on sale June 10 at 10 A.M. EST, and tickets for S.F. are available starting July 16 at 10 A.M. PST for San Francisco. S.F.'s Shoreline Amphitheater was the site of last summer's American debut of the Download Festival, which drew the Killers, Modest Mouse and Arcade Fire.
