Tool have expanded their brief 2014 tour plans. The art-metal godheads announced on their website that they’ll be making a few extra stops on their March itinerary. In addition to the U.S. and Mexico gigs announced last month, Maynard James Keenan and co. have added another six engagements: two more concerts in California, one in Las Vegas, and three in Texas. Tickets for all of the newly confirmed dates — except for the March 25 performance in Houston — go on sale Friday, February 14 at 10 a.m. local time. The Houston tickets will be available at noon local time on February 14.

VIP pre-sales will go up for grabs on Thursday, February 13 at 10 a.m. PST through Tool Army and 3 p.m. PST through Tool’s official website.

Little is confirmed about Tool’s supposedly in-the-works new album. Keenan’s other band A Perfect Circle released their first new song in nearly a decade, “By and Down,” and are scheduled to play MJK’s 50th birthday party in May alongside Keenan’s other other band Puscifer, who dropped the two-hour DVD What Is… Puscifer in November.
