Tom Waits will be taking his trademark growl down south this summer, stopping by some cities that he has not visited since the late '70s. The two-time Grammy winner, known for selling out concert tickets within minutes, will kick off this new trek in Atlanta on Aug. 1. Why tour these towns now? "We need to go to Tennessee to pick up some fireworks, and someone owes me money in Kentucky," Waits quipped in a statement. Tickets for the Atlanta show go on sale on July 8, but if past ticket sales are any indication, those too will be real gone, real soon.
