It seems only last week that Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke was only a glint in New Moon director Chris Weitz’s eye.

Wait, it was only last week!Well, moving fast to keep up with the ever-growing hype surrounding the Twilight sequel, Weitz announced that Yorke has in fact submitted a new tune.

At San Diego’s Comic Con festivities, Weitz told the adoring crowd that he hasn’t actually listened to the track yet, but “unless it’s sounds of him belching, I think I’ll put it in.”If it’s anything like the othertwo new tracks Yorke recently debuted, Weitz needn’t worry.

Also on board is indie woodsman and Volcano Choir-boy Bon Iver. “I selfishly want to put songs in by artists I love,” Weitz explained.”I think [Bon Iver] is fantastic. He says he wrote it for the film, but who ever knows if it might just be something laying around in his cupboard.”

In other New Moon news, Comic Con attendees got a first glimpse at film footage on Thursday. The largely female audience screamed in delight as they watched a shirtless Pattinson consider suicide and co-star Taylor Lautner — also shirtless — treat a motorcycle victim.

For fans who prefer to wear clothes, Nordstrom will debut character-supporting “Team Jacob” or “I love Edward” t-shirts, tunics and pendants in October.

New Moon opens November 20.
