Above, the New York group’s frontman, Hamilton Leithauser, unleashes the video for “I Don’t Need Anyone,” the latest single from his solo album Black Hours. The video is directed by fellow Walkman Paul Maroon and stars the band’s sound man, Christopher Colbert, as the singer’s irreverent companion (via Consequence of Sound). The story follows the pair’s peculiar dynamic of dependence and insolence through trips to the pool, the bar, and even the air field.
