Watch the Orwells Cover the Stooges’ ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’ on a Ski Slope

The Stooges, The Orwells, I Wanna Be Your Dog,

The Orwells left their gritty punk garage to hit the slopes for a performance of the Stooges’ 1969 classic, “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” as part of the recent On The Mountain video series. Decked out warm-looking parkas and, for those lucky enough to not be playing a guitar, gloves, the band blistered through the cover amid the snow-covered landscape of Vermont’s Stratton Mountain Resort.

The On The Mountain series, a product of the Brooklyn collective The Wild Honey Pie, is in its second season, and bands like Ra Ra Riot and Modern Rivals also braved the cold to perform. Watch “I Wanna Be Your Dog” above, and check out the rest of the performances at the On The Mountain website.
