The-Dream's new album IV Play will be in stores two weeks from today (May 14), and its megawatt track list includes Jay-Z, Big Sean, and Gary Clark, Jr. It also includes Beyoncé and, of course, 2 Chainz on "Turnt," a song that aims at rattling trunks instead of bed springs. A snippet of the probable single — you don't get Beyoncé and 2 Chainz on a track and not make it a single — appeared on iTunes this morning, along with 30-second samples of the entire record. Beyoncé, notably, gets a bit nasty, singing, "Talking about you gon' kill it / Eat it up till I black out."
The track is a replacement for "Fire," which was a glistening duet between The-Dream and Beyoncé slated for IV Play that had B quoting 8Ball & MJG. Unfortunately, the track was axed from the final pressing due to sample-clearing issues. Stream "Turnt" below, and head to iTunes to preview the rest of the album.
