Terrace Martin and Kendrick Lamar Sail the ‘Triangleship’ Into Lecherous Waters

Kendrick Lamar and Terrace Martin

After getting assists from James Fauntleroy and Robert Glasper on “No Wrong, No Right,” Terrace Martin enlisted the esteemed Kendrick Lamar for his latest track, “Triangleship.” Appearing on his debut full-length 3ChordFold, the song finds Martin trying to juggle the resulting drama of being in love with two women. He croons about his problems over the saxophone-propelled beat provided by producer 9th Wonder, and then a woman provides narration about their romantic woes, setting the stage for the album’s narrative: W hen it comes to love, there are only renters, buyers, and freeloaders.

The album is due out tomorrow, August 13, via Empire Distribution and also features appearances by Ab-Soul, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, and many more.
