Five years after the release of their self-titled debut, Tenacious D are back with a feature film and an accompanying soundtrack. Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, which hits theaters Nov. 17, will feature appearances by Meat Loaf, who plays Jack Black's father, Ronnie James Dio, who plays himself, and Dave Grohl. Those artists are likely to appear on the album, which will be released Nov. 14 and features Tenacious D tunes like "Master Exploder," "Dude, I Totally Miss You," and "The Pick of Destiny." The film also features stars like Tim Robbins, Ben Stiller, Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, and Colin Hanks.
