Taylor Swift was at her pop-starriest on Thursday night when she sang her new song, “Out of the Woods,” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She played the Jack Antonoff-penned track before a huge and excited crowd on Hollywood Boulevard just four days before the release of her new album, appropriately decked out in sparkly pants and a crop top.
The performance was premium Swift 2.0, and the young singer was clearly having a lot of fun with 1989’s new pop stylings. Despite all the glam, it was still recognizably the Taylor we’ve all come to know, from her confident stage presence to her usual lyrical symbology.
