Super Furry Animals Frontman, Boom Bip Join Forces

Bryan Hollon, aka Boom Bip, and Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys have teamed up to form another super group, Neon Neon. The musicians’ second collaboration to date — Rhys added vocals to “Do’s and Don’ts” from Boom Bip’s 2002 album, Seed To Sun — is set to deliver electro-pop backed by steady bouncing beats, Filter.com reports. The Magic Numbers have penned some of the album’s choral arrangements while Spank Rock and former Pharcyder Fat Lip rap on it. The project, based on the tumultuous life of De Lorean Motor Company founder John De Lorean, was recorded in London during the summer and fall of 2006 and is set to drop sometime this summer.
