Summer Cannibals are self-starters. Not only did the Portland, Oregon foursome self-produce their upcoming debut album, No Makeup, they also designed the cover art and plan to release the collection on their own label, New Moss Records. So it's not surprising that singer-guitarist Jessica Boudreaux sounds so self-assured on the garage-rock sweethearts' latest single, "Wear Me Out." Backed by a bopping drum beat and strutting riffs, Boudreaux delivers an irresistible come-on: "Let's pretend I'm your favorite dress," she sings. "You wear me every Sunday because I'm your best."
