Sufjan Stevens, Bjork, Prince, Emmylou Harris, and Elvis Costello, among others are set to contribute tunes to A Tribute to Joni Mitchell, a forthcoming album covering songs by the respected Canadian jazz folkie, Billboard.com reports. Stevens’ contribution, “Free Man in Paris,” penned for label president David Geffen and included on Mitchell’s 1974 mega-hit album Court and Spark, was recorded by Stevens last March and April in Brooklyn, a spokesperson for Stevens confirmed to SPIN.com.
