Suede channeled J. J. Abrams' Star Trek in the lens flare-filled video for "It Starts and Ends With You," and now the Britpop survivors have cribbed a move from Tim Burton's Batman for the official clip to new single, "Hit Me." Like Burton's 1989 blockbuster, the above video features some, uh, liberal redecorating in an art museum. But unlike Batman, it's Suede that's soundtracking the vandalism, not Prince. (Another big difference: It's a young couple that's splattering the paint, not Jack Nicholson.) "Hit Me" appears on Suede's recently released Bloodsports LP, and also serves as the title track to a new EP
