The Streets Make World's Longest Video

News

The Streets' Mike Skinner has created the longest music video ever, shot to celebrate MTV's 25th birthday. The 20-minute clip, which accompanies an as-yet-untitled track, beats the current record held by Michael Jackson's 1983 single, "Thriller," which had a 13-minute video. Skinner's clip features footage shot by five MTV viewers who were given a video camera and told to shoot whatever they wanted. Skinner then used their footage as inspiration for his new song. In the clip, amateur filmmaker George Stamenkovic (London) attempts to locate Bigfoot, while Bella Keegan (London) does a cheerleading spoof. The video will air on MTV UK on August 1.
