Stones’ Richards Recovering After Surgery

The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards, 62, has undergone surgery following a fall in Fiji and is reportedly recovering well.

The aging rocker reportedly fell either from a palm tree or a jet ski while on vacation. On Monday (May 8) Richards underwent surgery at the Ascot Hospital in Aukland, New Zealand to relieve pressure that built up in his head following the tumble. According to the Rolling Stones official website, “the operation was a complete success and Keith is already up and talking with his family today. He will need a few weeks recuperation.”

Richards was not initially expected to undergo surgery but, after complaining of headaches Sunday, doctors “thought it prudent to move ahead with a small operation to remove the pressure.”
