If the tasty Nathan’s hot dogs, gut-curdling Cyclone rollercoaster, eyebrow-raising freak show, time-honored beach view, or dodgy night lurkers simply aren’t enough to motivate a summertime excursion to Brooklyn’s infamous Coney Island, maybe these guys will: Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Broken Social Scene, the Helio Sequence, Annuals, Beach House, and Times New Viking will headline the Village Voice’s eighth annual (and always free) Siren Music Festival, set to hit the boardwalk July 19.

Also billed for the show: Jaguar Love, the Dodos, Film School, Parts & Labor, Dragons of Zynth, and These are Powers. More performing acts and DJs will be announced as the show’s date nears.

Slather on the suntan lotion, dust off your parasol, and we’ll see you on the boardwalk!
