Spoon wrapped up 2014 by debuting a new song live at the House of Blues in Houston on December 30. Now a fan-shot video of the new song, “Satellite,” has made its way to the web for everyone’s enjoyment. It’s a slow, melancholic sort of tune, though the lyrics and underlying warmth in its melody ultimately make it very comforting. No word on the band’s future plans for “Satellite” yet, but you can listen to it above.
