Spin's Hot Pursuit Picks Week Five Winners

The Hot Pursuit, Spin magazine and Music Nation's online challenge in search of the next breakout rock act, has pushed two more bands into the next round. And this week's winners are Venice, CA-based singer/songwriter Ainjel Emme, who judge and alt-rock statesman Perry Farrell says is "rich in character," and Boulder, CO's assorted modern rock quartet Some Random Band, both now moving forward to join other victorious acts such as the Soldier Thread and the G Clef.
