In the Spin Suite: The Hush Sound

Although the Hush Sound had some unsavory initial forays into the mainstream music spotlight (read -- and see -- more), 2006 turned out to be an incredible year for the young Chicagoans. They toured with Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, and All-American Rejects on the strength of Like Vines, their debut record on Pete Wentz's Decaydance label. After finishing their current tour, they'll be out with Hellogoodbye throughout the spring. The SPIN.com Artist of the Day (read more) alums sat down with SPIN.com's Emily Zemler to talk about their next album and hanging out at SXSW.
