U2‘s troubled Spider-Man musical could have its opening date delayed for a sixth time. Producers are considering pushing the March 15 opening to late June so they can make changes to the production, which would improve “its worldwide commercial prospects.” [The New York Times]

Less than a year on the job, Interpol bassist David Pajo is leaving the group to focus on his family, the band announced in a statement on their site. “We’re all friends,” Interpol wrote. “It’s just an out-of-the-hotel, into-the-home sorta thing. He’s going to be missed to be sure.” Pajo, a founding member of Slint, was brought on to replace founding member Carlos D and will now be replaced by Soldier of Fortune member Brad Truax. Interpol’s spring tour, which kicks off in Europe on March 3 and includes July U.S. dates opening for U2, will continue on schedule. [Interpol’s Official Site]

Muse are aiming to have their sixth record out as early as next year and the British prog-rockers are planning to relocate to London to record the disc. “We’ve actually never made a full album [in London], it’ll be nice to all be based in the same place, we can go out and socialize,” frontman Matt Bellamy said.”It also means we can make the album over a longer period of time without having to pressurize it into a three week studio session.” [BBC]
