Speedy Ortiz Get Weird in the Woods for ‘No Below’ Video

Massachusetts slack-pop posse share another highlight from 'Major Arcana' LP

Consider inviting Speedy Ortiz into your home for the holidays — the Massachusetts fuzz-merchants are the gift that keeps giving. Their excellent debut album has delivered the clobbering “Plough,” a charmingly bizarre video for “Tiger Tank,” and the lilting loner anthem “No Below.” Now, courtesy of director Boast Choan, we have a video for the latter that thankfully finds singer/guitarist Sadie Dupuis surrounded by friends. But just because they’re all hanging out in the woods together that doesn’t mean their commune with nature is a wholesome one. Hit play above to witness the bizarre rituals, which involve bones and blood and fur and some truly disgusting looking sandwiches.
