Soundgarden Will Unleash ‘King Animal’ at One-Off London Gig

Soundgarden, Seattle’s favorite black hole sons, will play a single show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire in November, according to NME. The reunited band will headline the 2,000-capacity venue on November 9, making it their first appearance on that stage since 1994, when they were the first band ever to play there.

Fans who pre-order the U.K. super deluxe edition of Soundgarden’s new album, King Animal (due November 13 in the U.S. via Seven Four Entertainment/Republic Records) before midnight on October 22 will qualify for an exclusive pre-sale for the Shepherd’s Bush Empire gig. The pre-sale will allow fans to buy tickets two before they go on general sale on October 26.

Cornell and crew debuted the appropriately titled single “Been Away Too Long” (which does not sound like Eminem) last month. The group also landed a song in Marvel’s The Avengers earlier this year.
