Snow Patrol has been forced to postpone their North American tour due to polyps on singer Gary Lightbody's vocal chords. While the band had postponed shows on a case-by-case basis in hopes that their frontman's condition would improve, a doctor has advised Lightbody not to do any shows for a month and said he may eventually need surgery. "I hope you all understand that if I could do this tour right now I would," Lightbody wrote in a post on the band's site. Look for new dates to be announced early this week.
