Snoop Slapped with Drug, Gun Charges

It's surely a hard knock life for Calvin Broadus, a.k.a. Snoop Dogg. MTV.com reports that the Britain barred, Sweden detained ex-Death Row rapper has been charged by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office with two counts of transporting marijuana and possession of a firearm by a felon, a charge stemming from last year's arrest at Burbank, CA's Bob Hope Airport -- his second airport related arrest.

Snoop will appear in Pasadena Superior Court for arraignment this morning, and it seems Doggy Dogg could potentially see some hard time in the big dog house -- the charges carry up to a four-year sentence. Snoop, rendered a felon by a 1990 cocaine possession conviction and 1993 illegal gun conviction, is currently aiming to, er, increase the peace on the One Love Peace tour with Diddy.
