On "Vato," the first single off his eight solo album, Tha Blue Carpet Treatment, Snoop Dogg promotes unity within the Black and Latino communities in the wake of violence in recent months in Los Angeles. The clip for the Pharrell-produced track features B Real from Cypress Hill as a Latino gang member and Snoop as an O.G., and it tells a story of life on the streets in L.A.'s rougher neighborhoods. "It's about time we start to fight for each other rather than fighting against each other. I have homies from all cultural backgrounds and love all of my brothers, black and brown. There is nothing that can stop us from creating a better future for ourselves, for our families and generations to come if we all came together," Snoop said in a statement. Rapper Kid Frost and Oscar-nominated actor Edward James Olmos also appear in the clip. The video for "Vato" will debut Aug. 30 on BET's Access Granted.

Tha Blue Carpet Treatment, set for a November release, features production from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Rick Rock, Pharrell, and guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Ice Cube, the Game, Brandy, R. Kelly, MC Eight, and more.
