To commemorate the release of Zeitgeist, the band’s first album in seven years, the socio-political minds of Smashing Pumpkins have teamed with BestBuy, iTunes, and Target to offer fans additional bonus tracks. Now, when the album drops Tuesday, July 10th, fervent Pumpkins devotees can head to any of the aforementioned outlets and pick-up a copy of Zeitgeist, which will arrive with a different, store specific bonus tune.
In addition to the 12-track standard tracklisting, BestBuy will dispatch Zeitgeist with “Death From Above,” Target will offer the album’s title track, “Zeitgeist,” and iTunes will release “Stellar” to online fans. While you await the album’s release, you can sate your Pumpkins jones with Spin‘s July issue: Attached to each newsstand copy is a Smashing Pumpkins Tribute CD, presented by Spin, MySpace, and Helio, with contributions from Panic!
