Small Black’s latest LP is entitled Limits of Desire, but the band’s curiosity, anyway, knows no bounds. The Brooklyn-bred quartet just returned from a month-long tour, during which they delivered their swooning synth-lines and sighing melodies to the furthest corners of old, weird America. The band braved sand cyclones in Arizona, hiked along rocky cliffs on the Oregon Coast, and perused old-school porn mags in Michigan. Co-frontman Ryan Heyner told us the tales from the road.
