Siren Music Fest Adds Ambulance Ltd., Morningwood, More

Hipsters across the five boroughs are getting ready to make the trek out to Coney Island for the budget-friendly music event of the season: the Siren Music Festival. There's extra incentive to take the F train to its conclusion now that the Siren Fest has announced a slew of additional bands including Ambulance Ltd., Morningwood, Saul Williams, Be Your Own Pet, Nine Black Alps, Detachment Kit, and Diamond Nights. These eclectic acts join Spoon, the Dears, Brendan Benson, Mates of State, and more for the free-of-charge seaside celebration on Sat., July 16. The Village Voice-sponsored Siren Festival is in its fifth year.
