Los Angeles band Sir Sly get taken to Chicago on the Peter CottonTale remix of their electronics-fed folk-ish hit “Gold.” The SAVEMONEY-affiliated producer wrangles crew boss (and SPIN favorite) Vic Mensa and Leather Corduroys member Kami de Chukwu to contribute original vocals. We first heard Mensa on Chance the Rapper’s incredible Acid Rap tape, and we were last treated to his talents via a freestyle set to Disclosure’s “When a Fire Starts to Burn.” Hit play below for a grimier sort of “Gold.”
