If it wasn't immediately apparent upon seeing the terrifying cover art above, OWSLA signee Seven Lions is in a darker place on his latest single. A year ago, we were introduced to the Santa Barbara, California producer via an uplifting trance-step epic called "Days to Come" — hopeful stuff, even down to the title. But "Serpent of Old" is a bleak, writhing combination of cyberpunk wilding, electrohouse bigness, and gothic piano twinkling. Of course, a great deal of that tone is due to the presence of Los Angeles duo Nostalghia, who contribute significant shrieks courtesy of singer Ciscandra. Scroll further to see the artwork in its creepy entirety via Santiago Caruso.
