Yuck, the band, meets "yuck" the expression of disgust on the latest song from Melbourne-born, New York-based singer and songwriter Craig Dermody. "Gammy Leg," from his Scott & Charlene's Wedding project's new Two Weeks EP, maintains the tuneful scruffiness that would slot it nicely on a playlist alongside the aforementioned U.K. noise-poppers or newer peers like PAWS. The song's subject here, as on PAWS' Cokefloat!-ing "Sore Tummy," also happens to be a rather unpleasant ailment, though once again, the ramshackle guitars and gawky vocals shimmer just enough that any gag reflex should be suppressed by the urge to hit replay.
