Ryan Adams and Jenny Lewis have been pretty close this year — Adams helped produce her third solo album, The Voyager — so it’s fitting that they’d finishing up the year with four joint tour dates. On Saturday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the pair performed together; though Lewis opened the show, Adams was right there from the start playing guitar for “Just One of the Guys,” “Head Underwater,” and “Love U Forever.”
Then, near the end of Adams’ headlining set, the pantsuited singer came back out to sing backup on “Oh My Sweet Carolina” and “Come Pick Me Up” from Heartbreaker. Fans captured some of their delightful collaboration on video: “Oh My Sweet Carolina” is above, while “Come Pick Me Up” and “Head Underwater” are below. They’ll tour together three more times, making stops in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tempe, Arizona, and Pomona, California. No promises that they’ll take the stage together again, though.
