Don’t mess with Mr. Killums. That’s the lesson from Run the Jewels — a.k.a. El-P and Killer Mike — teach in their new video for “36” Chain.” Mr. Killums, El-P’s drug-loving, gun-toting rodent puppet gets kidnapped and the duo go on a violent rampage to find him. Much like on their self-titled debut album, El and Mike make a formidable pair, exaggeratedly beating up and murdering a host of guest stars like Andrew W.K. and Amber Tamblyn. Will Killums – who also appeared in El’s videos for “The Full Retard” and “Stay Down” – make it out alive? We won’t spoil the ending, but expect a delicious twist.
Mike and El are currently on the Run the Jewels tour, which runs through mid-August. They’re in Nashville tonight, and the rest of the dates are below:
