On October 11, 2009 the legendary Roxy in Los Angeles will host Rockstar Karaoke. The one-night event will feature well-known rock musicians performing classic rock karaoke to benefit the Painted Turtle, a camp for seriously ill children that provides a life-changing experience to children whose daily struggles often diminish both their desire to be well and their ability to lead a rich, productive life.

The line up includes Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, drummer Jason Bonham, Kelly Hansen and Jeff Pilson of Foreigner, Lemmy of Motorhead, Trevor Rabin, Rudy Sarzo of Whitesnake and Quiet Riot, Slim Jim Phantom of Stray Cats and the Head Cat, Austin Winkler of Hinder, and many more, including house band Dude Jones.

Before door open there will be an exclusive invite only auction upstairs at On the Roxy of rock memorabilia and specialty items from Royal Underground, Ronnie Wood, Twisted Sister, Todd Goldman, M.A.C. cosmetics, Jagermeister, and many more.
