Robyn and Röyksopp always seemed comfortable bedfellows, given both the proximity of countries of origin and their stylistic commitment to intelligent, polychromatic pop music, and the recently surfaced title track to theirforthcoming Do It Again EP confirms just how well they work together.
Though “Do It Again” made its way to the internet (briefly) earlier this week, and a few tracks have been teased, the first single finally premiered properly last night on Annie Mac‘s show on BBC Radio 1. As per usual for Robyn it’s post-breakup dancefloor candy, and bolstered by some thunderous 4/4 kick drum work and erratic synth slashes, it seems readymade for rattling expensive drinks in big clubs that she and the Röyksopp boys will be visiting this summer.
