Robin Thicke and Pharrell Grind With ‘Ellen’ Audience

Robin Thicke and Pharrell have a genuine smash hit on their hands. “Blurred Lines” — Thicke’s newest single, which was produced and prominently features Skateboard P — is currently the No. 1 song on iTunes after the duo performed it along with T.I. on The Voice, and it’s already peaked as the No. 1 song in Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. Earlier today, Alan’s son steered this runaway train to the set of Ellen, where he and Pharrell wooed the moms in the crowd with the deliciously slinkly little number.

Earlier this month, Thicke previewed his new record’s purported second single, the EDM-teasing “Give It to Me,” which was produced by Will.i.am and features Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz. But that was before “Blurred Lines” shot off into the stratosphere, so “Give It to Me” has likely been slipped back into the drawer for now.
