Unlike some iconic British rock bands, a full-blown U.S. tour from Led Zeppelin isn't a foregone conclusion, so for now, Zepp heads will have to settle for Robert Plant's latest project, Robert Plant Presents the Sensational Space Shifters.

The "Whole Lotta Love" wailer will trek across the States, making a total of 21 stops, beginning with a performance in Dallas on June 20, and ending with a gig in Brooklyn's Prospect Park on July 27. Between those two shows, Plant and his Sensational Space Shifters will play California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

According to an official announcement, the Sensational Space Shifters grew out of Plant's tenure with his Strange Sensation band, which supported the singer on two albums: 2002's Dreamland and 2005's Mighty ReArranger. The roster for this newly dubbed band consists of guitarist Justin Adams (Tinariwen, Sinéad O'Connor), keyboardist John Baggott (Portishead, Massive Attack), bassist Billy Fuller (Beak>, Massive Attack), guitarist Liam "Skin" Tyson (Cast, Men from Mars), violinist Juldeh Camara, and drummer Dave Smith.
