Robert Plant Brought a Joint to ‘The Colbert Report’ Last Night

Robert Plant Colbert Report Led Zeppelin Rainbow Little Maggie

Last night, before his midnight headlining show at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl, Robert Plant stopped by The Colbert Report to play some songs from his new album lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar. Though he’s clearly taken a page out of Mariah Carey’s book when it comes to naming albums, the Led Zeppelin icon kept things much less pretentious with his entertaining, high-spirited takes on “Little Maggie” (above) and “Rainbow” (below) with the help of his band, the Sensational Space Shifters.

During his interview, the two got surprisingly handsy with the legendary singer’s, uh, posterior (seriously, when will the Summer of Ass end?), and then Plant handed Colbert something that looked awfully like a joint. It’s below too, and certainly worth watching.
