If you’ve never been to Madame Tussauds famed wax figure museums, they are not lying: Their sculptures do look very lifelike (and dead in the eyes). Today, the museum unvieled its new figure of Rihanna at Sacred Tattoo in Lower Manhattan (don’t ask), which shows the chisled pop singer in a performative pose wearing a Lichtensteinian Halle-Berry-as-Catwoman getup. This is Madame Tussauds’ eighth (eighth!) figure of Rihanna, but is the first that will be permanently housed in New York City. The ninth, hopefully, will show her rolling a joint on her bodyguard’s head.
