Remy Ma Released From Prison, Shares DJ Khaled Collab

Remy Ma Release Prison They Don't Love You No More DJ Khaled Stream

New York rapper Remy Ma (real name Reminisce Smith) was released from prison Friday after six years out of an eight-year sentence that she received in 2008. The 34-year-old was convicted of assault after shooting a member of her entourage over a reportedly missing sum of $3,000. But now, according to Instagram posts by her husband Papoose (and later confirmed by Revolt), she has been released from the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women, and she’s wasted no time getting back to work.

Friday night she hit the studio with DJ Khaled to hop on a remix of his Jay Z-featuring posse cut “They Don’t Love You No More.” Remy spent the early 2000s affiliated with Terror Squad (which also included Fat Joe and Big Pun), and these vitriolic new bars hearken back to her glory days. Six years have passed, but she still has the ability to head straight in the studio and drop off lines like: “I listened to your CD damn you really wanna be me/Don’t care if your name buzzin you know who the queen bee.” You can listen to the whole track below, via Complex.
